Our History
| Founded in 1958 in Vandergrift by Dr. James P. Rametta, Rametta Audiology and Hearing Aid Center has served the needs of the hearing impaired of the A-K Valley for forty years. |
Michael Rametta |
Michael Rametta, MS, a certified clinical audiologist with a masters in audiology, joined the practice full time in 1997. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists and will begin his doctoral training in 2007.

James Rametta |
James Rametta, BC-HIS, is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. And is a board member of the Pennsylvania Hearing Aid Alliance and the International Hearing Society. He has maintained the highest level of expertise by averaging over forty hours of continuing education every year.

Dr. James P. Rametta |
Dr. James P. Rametta,started the practice from his home in Vandergrift in 1958. He worked diligently until the age of 89. He is now fully retired and residing in Monroeville.

The staff of Rametta Audiology and Hearing Aid Center now includes six employees at four locations: the original office in Vandergrift , facilities at Longwood at Oakmont as well as the main Tarentum office. Also available is our in home service to not only test, but also to fit and make minor repairs in the privacy of your own home. We are also the exclusive providers for many nursing and assistive living facilities in the Alle-Kiski Valley.
